"I have a few of these small safe's, and have even given them as gifts to family. It is not a big and bulky safe. It seems to be basically thick sheet metal. Great for smaller items. The keypad is a nice addition, which you generally don't get on a $20-25 safe. The screw holes make it very easy to secure into the wall/floor. The felt liner on the floor of the safe prevents those annoying mental-on-metal sounds. Be aware that it is not fire proof rated. Still, for the dollar value, it's a great item."

Better 'safe' than sorry!

"I have been wanting one of these for ages and finally got one. What a handy little item!
My expectations were not very high given the price, but I was really surprised.....this product delivers!
Simple to program, comes with installation bolts & batteries; everything you need in one tidy, compact package. It will fit unobtrusively anywhere in the home and is the perfect size to meet an average household's needs for storage of jewelry, documents etc.
The only drawback is that the instruction manual was obviously written by somebody who does not speak English as their first language. However, the setup protocols are fairly intuitive so the awkwardly written manual shouldn't present too much of a problem for the average end user.
Other than that, this handy little safe gets two thumbs up and five stars from me."

"Just bought this safe on Boxing Day. For the price paid, this is good quality. If installed according to directions shown, this should deter would be thief if they can find it. Being so small, it is very easy to hide."

"Got the last one at my Canadian Tire! And im so happy I did...
Firstly, the price (while on sale) is remarkable considering the perfect size and the fact that its digital. It comes with two master keys, and a personalized number PIN which you can reprogram for your own liking. Comparing it to the rest of the safes, I would have to spend TWICE as much to get something as good as this (was 34.99CAD compared to other lower-end, non-digital models @ 28.99 and 34.99 CAD)
The sale expires 07/24/09 here in Toronto, ON so make sure to get it quick!
My only negative review would be the manual handout you get with it- it has many typo's and it said to "install the four 'AAA' batteries". They were actually AA and it really confused me! Other than that, awesome safe!!!"

"When I got at Canadian Tire and bought this item, my first reaction was "its small". Actually, a document can fit easily in it, and it's small size is really convenient since you can put it anywhere. It's build quality is really good. In the instruction sheets, it said that the code couldn't be reprogrammed.. When I tried, it did reprogram! that's cool! I would definitely recommend this product."
