Wonderful BBQ

"Absolutely support all reviews. Was pretty easy to put together. The final product is wonderful.
I did convert this to Natural Gas using the conversion kit at CTC. Was relatively easy to do and works great.
The heat produced by Natural Gas is less and increases the cooking times a bit vs. Propane but still similar or faster than a non-infrared BBQ.
Go get one!"

Fantastic Purchase!

"My wife and I looked for a couple of months to find the perfect BBQ and we found it! This BBQ is the best one if have ever purchased. We had a Thermos as our last BBQ and it lasted for about 8 years and this one looks like it will last longer. I love the way it cooks food, fast yet keeps everything moist. When people say you have to watch the cook time they were not kidding! We plan to enjoy this grill all summer and into the fall for years to come!!"

Pretty Cool BBQ

"I just purchased this yesterday and It took my about an hour to put together (taking my time). Very easy, mostly assembled when you buy it, therefore you'll need something big like a Van or Truck to pick it up.
Sparked up on the first try and cooked a great supper last night. I need to practice a bit because it this isn't like regular BBQ's with flames you can see. It does cook great, only complaint I have is that the cooking symbols are not clearly defined as to where to place the dial when. Basicly there is a Sear (which i get) and a Grill zone hi to low and then one that says BBQ, apparently that is zone if you are taking your time like ribs I quess.
Anyway it seems to be a great Grill so far.........and always highly recommend CT for anything and everything!"

"Well I lucked out big time. I got a display unit already assembled and I got it for 1/2 price. Make no mistake, this bbq is well worth 799.00, but to get it at 399.00 just made it all the more great. The cooking is phenomenal, there is no match out there in any conventional grill. You do have to watch your cooking times as it doesn't cook from the outside in and the cleanup is a little more of a nuisance than most flat grills, but that doesn't matter at all. Once you try this bbq, you'll be hooked. I've used the conventional gas grill forever and didn't even know this technology existed. Boy was I shocked the 1st time I used it. I cook a lot of big game meat which tends to dry out very quickly on a normal gas grill, but on this one it's a piece of cake, perfect every time. No dryness, no burning, just absolutely perfect."

Great BBQ

"If you do a lot of BBQing this is the unit to get. No hot spots. Meats turn out very moist and juicy. Easy to clean and the burnt ash from drippings can;t get near or on the burnners. I will never go back to a conventional gas BBq. I'm so pleased with mine that I'm going to get the Thermos Infrared Turkey Fryer next."

The best bbq

"I just purchased this bbq on saturday, let me say every day I've used it. Steaks with sear marks on saturday, pancakes on the side burner sunday, casserole in the main grill using stoneware on monday and hot dogs tuesday!!! All meals had grilled veggies except for pancakes. The unit heats up fast and cooks faster. One word of advice for new users watch your cook times inside cooks as fast as outside of meats.Love it!!!"

"I bought this BBQ earlier this summer and have it out at the lake. i cook everything on it and love it. I have tried chicken ,steak, vegetables among other things and have been very impressed. I have never had a BBQ that cooks as quick as this one while the meat is still so juicy and tender, because you don't get the direct flame. My wife cooked some steaks on it which she doesn't often cook on the BBQ and loved it herself. I can't see anyone being dissapointed with this."

Great grill

"I recently purchased this grill and I honestly can't be any more happier with it. I was surprised at how big the box was but I realized it was this size because the grill comes mostly assembled. This grill cooks very evenly and the first time I tried it, I cooked the best steak I've ever made. Even my mother in law who hates steak loved it after I made her try a piece."

Outstanding Grill

"I have never wrote a review before, but I was so impressed with this BBQ that I felt impressed to do so. First, I thought the quality was excellent, althought there are small stainless steel feet tacked on that help hold the U pans in place that have already broken off, but this is not a real big issue, they don't do much anyway. I was origionally sceptical about how well this would work considering the burners are under the pans, I wasn't sure if the heat would be spread evenly or if enough heat would come up to sear the meat, boy was I wrong, I have never in 35 years of BBQing seen better cooked meat. Nicely seared and evenly cooked, not at all dried out, what else can I say. HERE IS THE BEST PART... I put some water in the small pan and hickory chips in the large, turned on the rotisserie and it worked better than my Brinkman water smoker. Kept the roast moist, yet full of the great flavor you get from a smoker. This is why I went with this unit, I was hoping it would be able to work like a water smoker but was unsure. Now I know it works, trust me, this is a great grill.....TRY IT!!!"
