Works as advertised.

Date:February 25, 2013
"I was looking for a simple chin-up bar to mount on the door frame. This item does exactly that. Be aware, though, that it uses mounting rings which need to be screwed to the door frame (one for each end of the bar), because the bar alone will not support itself. This is not a negative critic, but the mounting rings are not mentioned on the box itself. Overall, I would recomment this product."

CAVEAT EMPTOR! 200 lb limit

Date:December 25, 2011
"There is a 200 lb limit on this device. This is NOT evident anywhere on the box or in descriptions online. It's only apparent once you get home, unbox the bar, and there it is: a big red sticker that says, 200 lb max. This is borderline deceptive and, as a result, we have a chin-up bar that most people in the house cannot use."
