Just Ok......

"I bought these and I have still slipped on the ice. Not great for very slick or sloped surfaces. There's no traction at the heel and my foot still slips around. I got the Large, which only has 2 rows of spikes, not 4 as shown here.
Maybe the pair with 4 rows works better. These were easy to put on, but the rubber is very thin and I don't think they'll last long. I'd invest a few dollars more in the future.

Great for what they are.

"I was taking the wife ice fishing for the first time and after the warmer weather needed something so we could walk on the ice. I am size 10/11 and she is size 9. Now she was wearing winter boots and I was wearing my very big winter work boots. I got the size 12+ and hoped they would fit both sizes. Thank god I didn't get the 8-12 cuz there was no way they would have fit ether of us. Now, normal boots may be different, I think they would be, but the 12+ worked great for both of us.
On the ice we walked around a little with out them on and had a hard time of it. There was about 2" of water with 2" of slush under that. Some places were just ice and others more water and slush. After putting these on, a little hard to get them in the right place at first, we walked a fair way and around for about 6 hours. The only thing you need to remember is the cleats are only on the front of the boot. Try walking on the toes more then just normal walking.
Again.. Great for what they are. $10 for safe walking if you don't walk alot on ice. If I was going to ice fish a lot more I would want cleats on the back also."

Very good for what they are.

Date:January 21, 2009
"I got these because the ones in the flyer weren't available (the ones with the yellow studs on the front). I am quite pleased I got these ones in the end though, they are strong and tough and pretty easy to get on (though they could be too small for a larger boot I think).
Lots of room in the toe section which I think is lacking from some of the others and a really excellent grip on even the most slippery ice.
I am getting another pair next time I go in."

"Extra large" my foot!

Date:April 8, 2008
"I bought the extra-large size hoping to get some more traction on icy sidewalks, but they were too small and the rubber too taut to fit a size 13 boot, hard to get on, and broke almost instantly."

Best Purchase

"I used these in horrible ice and rain conditions that were difficult to even stand on ice without slipping but once I put these on I could not believe how well I could walk on the ice . I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't tried them myself. Worth every cent."
