A Great EDC

Date:May 3, 2013
"I bought the Skeletool to take with me hiking and I don't regret it one bit. It has seven essential tools packed into a small, lightweight package that is perfect for everyday carry. If you're in the market for a multitool but don't want to dish out the extra money for one of the heartier models out there, check this one out. You won't be disappointed."

Love it!

Date:December 31, 2012
"I bought this leatherman to take along on camping trips and now find myself carrying it almost everywhere. The feature I like best is being able to open the knife without unfolding the whole tool. The blade is sharp, the pliers work well, both the carabiner and pocket clip work very well, and is compact and light enough to simply carry it in your pocket, too.
I really like the design as well, aesthetically appealing.

light and very handy

Date:August 5, 2011
"I like this multi tool because of it's simplicity. It only has a few basic tools but those are the ones I use the most anyway. That also keeps it light and easy to carry in a pocket or clip on my belt loop with the carabiner. The knife blade also comes out with the flick of my thumb and is very sharp. I now carry this on all my trips."

Epic!

Date:March 27, 2009
"This knife was designed as a radical departure from traditional leatherman and multi-tool designs, like the FUSE(R), basically the aim was to develop, in a sense, a folding, locking pocket knife, with pliers, this design turned out to be a success, hence why I am writing this review, anyhow, onto the review part.
first of all, I bought this to replace a multi-tool that I had "lost" (well, I couldn't find it, so I felt the need to replace it), this multi-tool/knife has a very good blade on it, I usually measure quality of the blade by how long it lasts at work while keeping a good edge, most blades will last me about 1-1.5 working days before I have to resharpen them, the blade kept an edge for 3 days while being about razor sharp. For those of you wondering, the blade does lock, and very securely too, so you don't have to worry about the blade snapping back on your fingers. The locking mechanism is designed with one hand open and close in mind. The knife is not very suitable for an extremely fast open like that of the switch blade or automatic knife. Anyhow, on with the rest of the features of the knife, it is constructed of stainless steel, so you don't have to worry about it getting wet and rusting, 25 year warranty, so if you somehow manage to break it, if you have the receipt, you shouldn't have a problem with getting it fixed or replaced. The pliers, are like every other leatherman, really handy, very effective. it requires two hands to open the pliers, but, if you are crafty enough, you can open the pliers on the skeletool with one hand. The belt clip also doubles as a beer bottle opener, (please drink responsibly), this works fine, just it may take a couple tries to clip it to the belt loop, if you are wearing gloves, or just not looking. Also has a pocket clip, that from what I can see, is very very well made, though I don't use it very much. The Skeletool also has a screwdriver built in, that has removable bits, mine came with the #1 and 2 Philips and slots heads. All the blots are tightened with a torque bit, I think its a T9, but I'm not to sure, best if you go figure that one out for yourself. A recommended buy with all pocket knives and multi-tools is white lithium grease. This helps the pocket knife or multi-tool close smoother, faster, and keeps everything tighter for longer. But that would be a totally different review. In closing, probably the best pocket knife that I've ever bought."
