"This is not the greatest multitool sold at Canadian Tire. We bought it as a gift for our kids.
The pliers aren't very sturdy. Squeeze hard enough, and they will go out of alignment. The blades are fairly sturdy. The knife blade is sharp, but too short to be useful except to maybe cut some paper. I wouldn't recommend using it to cut boxes. It closes too easily.
The blades aren't the sturdiest and will loosen if you put the tool to hard use. The screwdriver bits aren't that great. They won't take a lot of torque and they have a tendency to round off if you try and use them to sink a screw without a predrilled hole.
The can opener and bottle opener are strong enough to open a can or bottle cap, but the handles are too short to make it easy to use the tool as a regular can or bottle opener.
The handles and blades are aluminum and have been treated for rust protection. We had one sit in the trunk and it got wet many times but didn't rust.
Leatherman or Gerber products are definitely a better quality product, if you can afford it. If you need a lower price point, try a Gerber multi-tool. This no-name multitool is, at best, an okay product for a cheap price. It might make a good gift for a Cub Scout or Girl Guide."
