Prone to rusting

Date:February 4, 2011
"I left this one in the car tool kit. It was in a sealed box in the trunk, but it's developed rust on all the metal parts. The pliers aren't really that strong. When you try to open one blade, all the attachments start to open with it. You would be better off with a Gerber multitool or, if you have the budget, the Leatherman line/"

Nice Christmas present

Date:September 7, 2010
"I got this for an Christmas present and it work great! I used it every day and drove it hard. After about a year it was dropped on hard packed dirt and the peice to hold the tools from flopping back was torn off. Eventually because of that the tools fell out one by one! I then pulled the axels out and used just the pliers. They are awsome exept for the fact that if you cut something thin the blades will just slide on either side. There is however a spring in between the panels which I really like. The knife blade needs a sharpening now and then but stayed pretty sharp for the cheepness of it all. I know bought a Leatherman and it is the best. You pay more for more quality. In closing I would say great tool for on sale price but if you are going to be useing it all the time GO FOR THE GUSTO and get something better!!!"

Can be better

Date:April 9, 2010
"Durability seems good enough when purchased on sale (like most C.T. items). Problem was when closing the pliers. The arm for the screwdriver accessories allowed the pliers to slip beyond and jam the pliers up. This also occurs on the other sides "border fence" metal tab. I took the bench grinder to shorten the offending parts to cure the problem. Works good enough now for harsh outdoor jobs that multi-tools are mostly used for. I cannot see spending $80+ for harsh jobs like cutting wire, hacking rope etc. with the knife. Multi-tools are just too delicate....or just too clumsy... at least for my budget."

Consider Better Brands

Date:August 31, 2008
"I got this tool as a gift for Christmas and have only now had a chance to use it on an off-road trip. I had used the plier briefly on a minor adjustment however the first time I went to use the flat screwdriver it snapped off near the base. Now that the screwdriver snapped off all of the tools on that same side are flimsy. I would not recommend buying this cheap imitation, spend a few more dollars and buy a more established brand name such as Leatherman or Gerber, they will last a lifetime. I wouldn't even recommend this for use around the house as even the screwdriver is terribly weak for any application. Thankfully I had my trusty Leatherman with me as well to complete the job!"

Good Tool, Good Price

Date:March 28, 2008
"This is a well-made very versatile tool that can do just about anything. The only real problem I found was that the tool is fairly large. I know, I know, you can't have all that functionality in a micro package and the product name actually is the Big Wood Multi-Tool.
It is a competent, handy and hefty little guy, though. Even better if you have largish hands and don't want to fiddle with the smaller multi-tools.

Strong and reliable

Date:December 23, 2007
"when holding this in your hand, you feel that its got a bit of weight to it. It tells me that I have a durable well made tool i can rely on. It actually came in handy on more than one occasion already. all features are useful. The only small complaint is that its difficult to remove the screwdriver 1/4" hex socket adapter from the molded rubber holder it comes in. the srcewdriver bits come out ok from their rubber molds but not as easy as they should also. But thats no biggie anyway. At sale price of $9.99, i shouldn't even be mentioning small things like that. This item is more than satisfactory as far as multi-tools go."

greatest purse size handy tool made

Date:October 3, 2007
"I found this handy tool to be nothing but the greatest. It has helped in fixing minor break downs in the vehicle ( where I keep one) and has been there for many side fixes in odd places of needing pliers or screw drivers, they are compact and is why I carry one in my purse at all times. It is a must for people to have one on hand in areas where you can not always have a toolbox handy. They are great for ladies or gentlemen to use at any time."
