"This is a very basic swiss army knife, but it's pretty good and useful to have on you. Quality seems good."

"The Swiss Army brand name has been pawned off to second raters, but those in the know recognise the Victorinox knives as "the" swiss army knife of legend.
Mine has survived many years of service and sharpens up like new, holding a keen edge through much use and abuse.
For when you actually need a knife most often, this model is ideal, as the handle profile sits well in the hand. The extra gadgets on other models are nice, but you compromise the comfort and security of the grip, as when it gets as deep as it is wide, it will tend to turn in the hand. This model is ideal for having the most commonly used blades, and allowing a thin enough handle for secure cutting or whittling with the main or secondary blade.
Cheaper knives may have a good enough blade for the casual user, but will not have accessory blades or tools of equal quality. Here you get the same attention to detail all through, you can actually open a can with the can opener, you can actually open a bottle of wine with the corkscrew. You can use the screwdrivers on stiff screws without the blade shattering. The screwdriver blades also do not "strip" after a couple of uses as may happen with others."
"If you don't already have one of these knives, you need one.The Victorinox Swiss Army Sports Knife does so many different things that you won't know until you try it. I just carry it all the time"
