Excellent sight

Date:February 26, 2013
"I bought one of these to mount on My Crosman M4-177, and it was a major improvement over the iron sights. The adjustable dot is a great feature, and overall the sight has a quality feel to it. I highly recommend this sight."

Good Deal

Date:May 15, 2011
"I purchased, installed and calibrated this scope today.
Works great, using a bench rest at 60 feet I'm shooting 2 1/2" groups. My firearm is a Ruger
Mark III 22lr Target model. I'm new to shooting
and I expect this scope to be a great training aid. When I shoot one handed and no bench rest it's easy
to detect movement and the resulting bad shots.

Tasco Red Dot

Date:January 30, 2011
"I baught this red dot sight about three months ago and mounted it on my Tippmann Tango One. After setting the sight witch only took about 5 mins. it made my gun alot more accurate than the crossman red dot i had on it before. the sight its self is very durable and the dot is prety bright although it would be nice if it jst had an on and off switch due to any setting under 6 is almost completely invisable. But in the end this has to be the best red dot i have ever purchased for under 50 bucks."

has quirks

Date:November 19, 2010
"I really like this sight but there are a couple of areas that it falls short.
The "dot" isn't really a dot, it's more like 2 of them close together. Some sort of lens aberration that although a bit annoying doesn't affect the performance.
The other thing is the brightness control, I would have preferred a simple on/off switch as the highest brightness level is really good, but sub levels quickly become mediocre to useless. Anything at 6 and below is completely invisible in any light that you can actually see to shoot.

Nice shot dot scope

Date:August 30, 2010
"I was told by the professionals at a nearby game shop that red dot scopes and springer air rifles do not mix very well. This is one scope that "shoots holes" in that theory. It is mounted to a Crosman Phantom .22 calibre break barrel rifle and is performing magnificently. The only two complaints I have is the O ring of the battery compartment and its cover. It seems larger than the cavity into which it fits and is a bit of a chore to seat back in when replacing the cover and the flat black rubber coating of the cover is somewhat fragile and easily damaged when accessing the battery compartment. I removed the coating completely to reveal a semi-gloss anodized finish beneath which is very acceptable. For the price a very good product. Easy to install and easy to set up."

So much fun

Date:January 15, 2010
"I have this sight mounted on my Ruger 10/22 and I've fired over 1000 rounds through it with excellent accuracy.. I haven't had to adjust it at all since the day I sighted it in and at 50 yrds I have a consistant 2 inch spread. This scope was an incredible bargain compared to similar items from a tacticle gun store andthe adjustible brightness of the red dot makes it effective in any light condition. My rifle came with a scope rail and the Red Dot fit on to the rail easily. My only criticism of this product would be the battery it seems to last a long time but it's one of those hard to find ones that you have to get from a specialty store not just the local corner shop."

Awesome!

Date:April 7, 2009
"This scope was amazing! I bought this scope for $50 to fit my crosman P32 shotgun (airsoft gun). I tried other scopes, but none of them fit, but this one fits all rails so it fit my shotgun perfectly. I am upgrading to an R76 automatic airsoft rifle, and I am very happy that this scope should fit that gun as well. Also, there are 11 levels of brightness on the scopewhich is great, and I haven't had to replace the battery yet.
Overall, great purchase, and something you can keep for a long time.

Red Dot Perfection

Date:November 11, 2008
"I was looking for a cheap alternative to the more expensive military red dot scopes (ie. aimpoint and trijicon). I own a AR-15 (military rifle) and was told these lesser valued scopes were not that good. Could not have been more wrong. installed the scope and after setting the view finder to my settings found groupings at 50yrds of about 2moa (1.5" to 2"). My interests in the rifle were for no more than 50-100yrd distance. I have fired about 300-400 rounds with the scope on and have had no problems. Any one looking for a cheaper red dot scope look no further. I would recommend this to anyone on a buget."

Very good site.

Date:February 1, 2008
"This is a very good site if you don't want your face near a scope. The red dot is easily visible from 1 foot away.
For paintball these look fantastic but for hunting I think they should have used a different film on the visible lens facing the target. The lens shows up reddish orange when it catches any light at all."
