Very good daytime camera

Date:September 26, 2011
"The nightshots are very grainy and of course the eyes glow white, but it is still good to see what is using your trails at night. In one week we saw a bunny, 2 coyotes, and 2 deer. But the best part is if they are they during the day at all because even with the camera set at 5 megapixels the shots are great! We have the sensitivity set at normal and have not had any problems - it takes many photos when the deer etc are there, and doesn't take photos of nothing. It is also great to be able to check the SD card on the camera. I walk by it every day walking my dogs, and if I see there is something worth downloading, I bring the notebook the next day and d/l on the trail. The only thing that Bushnell should improve is the on/off/setup switch - very flimsy and doesn't set firmly into each position. The photo with my review is not straight from the camera - it was enhanced with Photoshop, but the resolution was good enough to allow me to crop in and bring up the detail. Had two Wildcams before this one, and never had this quality from its 1 megapixel ability. The Bushnell has an f/2.8 lens so excellent light gathering ability. Have not used the video yet, so cannot comment. Overall very pleased with the camera."

Good camera

Date:December 31, 2010
"Used this camera for the last few weeks and it is working ok but if used with video, the batteries won't last a day. Was very disapointed to find the new batteries dead after 120 or so 15 secs videos at night. Very far off from the 1 year battery life advertised by Bushnell. Now with pictures, the batteries seems to be lasting longer. Pictures and videos are good quality. The power switch is very annoying."

Good, Not Great, Trailcam - When On Sale For $200

Date:December 1, 2010
"The Pro's - Small and easy to mount
Good security system using Master Python Lock
Lots of features, easy to use menu system, good screen
Decent pictures and good video
The Con's - Buttons are much too small
Main control switch is terrible - won't slide then goes all the way up
Plastic case feels very cheap and flimsy
Infrared LED's glow bright visible red when taking night shots
Bought this on sale for $200 and feel it's a decent unit but there are much better ones available for the normal price of this unit."
