No luck with these

"The first camera didn't work at all. I tried some sample photos in my basement with the second camera - it seemed to work OK, taking 3 photos approx. 3 seconds apart, then waits 1 minute. I was able to trigger in complete darkness from about 25' away (couldn't test further distance in my basement).
When viewing the photos on my PC they were EXTREMELY white washed. I could barely see any detail at all, almost completely white. I gave up... these will be returned ASAP. Now I know why the majority sell for about $200 each, and I bought two for $80."

Not so useful

"Bought these camera's on sale. Installed them as per the instructions. They chew through batteries everyother week and only took pictures of the rain. Had deer in the area as there were lots of hoof prints in the dirt but no pictures. Bought a Moultrie camera (6MP) from CT and took pictures of deer first night out. This camera not worth the time or effort, buy a quality camera first time around."

No bells , no whistles, but does the job

"I got these for Christmas last year. They work fine..they wont wow you with features or anything and trigger speed is not that fast. But if you know what your doing thats no problem. I just setup with camera pointing down trail rather than across it, thereby increasing time target is in the sensor range....viola..pictures..lots.. I dont care if they are HD, thats just stupid.
Pop the SD card in a camera or viewer and your in business.
When these go on sale you cant go wrong!!"

"Bought four in 2008. Used for property surveillance 24/7, 365 days/year. Never had a problem, always reliable. Good quality shots for a 2megapixel camera.
For long duration like that, best to attach a 12V battery via the external jack for that. The 4 internal C-Cells do not last long in winter.
If using an external 12V battery, recommend a solar cell to keep it recharged.
I would check the cameras at most every two weeks. I have never exceeded the need for more than a 2GB SD card.
Low price means that, should someone pilfer one, it is not so big a deal.
Simple to set up and use, but do read the instructions. The siting considerations (for any trail camera) are particularly important. Be patient with the initial set-up of date/time, as it is slow."

Don't waste your money

"bought these in July and now both are back in Texas awaiting repair. Buy a better camera first time and save on the extra shipping $$ for warranty. batteries don't last and pictures mediocre when they decide to work"

"Got one for christmas, comes with nothing included. Memory card, batteries, it is quite visible, went to CTC and could not find 2G card, no plug in batterie. Pictures are average, Price is very high could find one for $130.00 on the internet same as above."
