"i bought this yesterday and changed it right away in the parking lot and boy did i feel a difference.....it is soft and no more back pain,i even added my old bell seat cover to it. now i can enjoy my bike ride in style and no pain

"I am new to biking and have a mountain bike. I found that I was having to shift around on my regular seat constantly due to pressure on the bones of my butt and would be bruised there for a couple days after a long ride. This seat completely eliminates that and is worlds different then the seat that came with my bike. I have not tried any other "after market" seats, but I LOVE this one! Wish I had bought it sooner!"

Great seat

"While this seat is not the greatest thing since sliced bread, it is a great bicycle seat. I had tried the seat which came with my bike for a couple months. Never did get used to it. I bought this one because of the ratings it got here more anything. I thought price was extremely high but hoped it was worth it. Luckily it was. Almost no pain at all now. even on long rides."

"I've recently purchased the CCM Apex from CT at a good price and after the first night of riding it was clear to me that the seat had to go, just wasn't comfortable enough, this however is. Honestly if you want to get a good and comfortable seat this is well worth the money."

"I bought this after trying 3 other seats.
I would not trade this for any amount of money unless I was giving up riding.. but that won't happen. It looks big but it also looks nice and feels even better! If you go on long bike rides you need this seat!!!"

Great and comfortable seat

"It's a really comfortable seat compared to the ones that come bundled with bikes. I replaced one of my bike's seat with a full gel seat (from another manufacturer) and it doesn't even come close to this seat. The pillowtop and the spring really helps a lot for a mostly street/touring bike. It's about twice as heavy and about 1.5x as wide as a stock mtb seat. My gf liked it so much that she ended up replacing her mtb saddle with this one. (Naturally it will look kind of odd on a mtb but for some people, comfort takes priority over looks)
I've got this on an older non-suspension bike and the ride and comfort difference compared to the original seat is phenomenal.
Since I have two of these to compare, I would say that I prefer the "older" / previous model. There is a sticker on the bottom of my first seat that says 2008 Schwinn. This model has the actual springs that protrudes way below the seat. For me it offers better damping as well as a more cushioned ride. The "newer" model that we purchased just a few days ago has been redesigned slightly. The sticker on the bottom now says 2009 Pacific Cycles. They made this seat a little bit more compact than the previous model by making it slightly shorter and thinner, but at the same time slightly wider. Gone are the metal springs and in place are rubber dampers. The new seat feels a little stiffer without sacrificing comfort. What remains to be seen is the longevity of the rubber dampers compared to the metal spring. (Metal springs eventually sag, but rubber tends to deteriorate over time as well)"

"This seat is great. I no longer have pain on my sit bones when I ride. I'm not saying it is like sitting on a cloud, but it sure is comfortable compared to regular bike seats. I am glad I made this purchase."

What a difference!

"Replaced the seat that came with the bike with this one, what a difference it makes!!! feels like you can ride on forever with this. It's like having a couch on your bike, the shock absorbing feature works a lot better than the rear shocks that came with the bike as well. it might look a bit bigger, but you won't be thinking about that when you are riding on it, and it doesn't affect the way you ride at all."
