cheap mount, cheap plastic = no good

"The mount for the light does not securely hold the light. Even when the little tab clicks into place, it is such a small indentation that it is not secure. Go over a few modest bumps and the light flies off. It's made of cheap plastic so it is destroyed when impacting the pavement. The cheap plastic mount groove/slot itself was also borken when the light flew off."

fitting price

"I picked up this light because I was going camping the next week and I needed a bike light. This one was fairly cheap so I purchased it. I found it to be a little dimmer then I would have liked and the beam is kind of small but I'm quite happy with this product. i had a hard time getting It to mount to my bike. The plastic tab's threading was stripped but I keep the light on now with a Zip Tie. It works great. It shines far enough ahead to see where I'm going and I would suggest this product to anyone."

Great Product

"This light works best paired in 2. Recently I bought a second one and paired it with my first one. Together they produce ample lighting for night-time riding. I also found that waiting till dark to aim the lights at an angle towards the road surface helped to aim them more accurately. They do their job well. These lights on a whole are very bright if you look directly at them you'll realize this."

Finicky switch

"The switch it annoying and cheaply made. It needs to be flipped a couple times to get it in the right mode, it sometimes starts flashing, and sometimes steady.
I needed to use a thinner piece of rubber to mount it to my handelbars, as with others, there was some fitting issues.
Overall, for the price it is satisfactory."

Not the most effective

"I had no problems getting the light mounted, and I've had no problems with it coming loose at all. The main issue I have with it, is that the light is emitted in a sort of flower pattern, with one center light, and 4 circles around it, but very spread out. I'd much rather have one big beam of light, personally. Other than that, it's worth what you pay for"

Decent light @ decent price

"I bougth this on sale at half price so it is ok. I would not pay reg price for sure though. the switch is of very poor design. they really went cheap on the switch so it is hard to turn on and off. Also the contacts are wonky at times.
However, for the price, it is quite good."

decent light, decent price

"i initially had the same problem as "tonydatiger" where the mounting bracket was too large to fit on my handlebar. but thanks to an unused piece of rubber from another bike accessory, i was able to mount it snugly. the light did appear weak from behind the bar, but when i looked at it directly it was actually pretty bright and quite visible for a fair distance. i wouldn't take this on any night trails, but for riding in semi-lit roads in the suburbs, this does the job."

Good stuff

"This is a good headlight for occasional and not-so-serious night riders, like me. The bracket has a quick-release tab so you can take the light off with 1 push. Problem is, it might get bumped off. Fortunately this light is hypertough and you can just roll them over with your bike and no damage done. Only thing is, for a LIGHT you need a quite bright one and this one goes for about 20m. Well that's indicated on the packaging so they are pretty sincere. Halogen lights are quite bright but power-thirsty so after 1 hour on continued usage the battries die. This one lasts for 10 hours at least. I put it on one night and the morning its still shining. Anyway, a quite nice light."

One Man's Treasure is Another Man's Junk

"At first I thought this product was really good, but after trying to attach it to my bike, my opinion quickly changed. First, I could not mount it on my handle bars, they were too narrow for it and it could not be adjusted to fit. Then, after mounting it to the frame, it began sliding around. I tried tightening it by hand and then the little bolt got stripped. And the light it emitted didn't do it for me; it was not really all that bright.
On the positive side, I did like the flashing feature and the ability to quickly detach it and use it as a flashlight.
They had the right idea, but no longer a must buy on my list!"

"This light is excellent. It mounts easy, has solid light, flashing light options and can be removed in a second to use as a handheld flashlight. On sale price is good too. Well worth the money."

"This is a super little light - Quickly releases and reattaches - very durable, have dropped it many times and it just keeps on going. Easy for the kids to use and small enough to fit in a pocket of their backpacks."
