Nice small bell

"It's a great little bell. A nice feature is that you can rotate the spring hammer to whatever position you want making it nice and easy to use. It's loud and simple also easy to install. I guess the only downside is it's availability in black (guess that other reviewer was lucky) because the day I went to buy this bell all off Toronto didn't seem to have one in black."

Effective little thing

"I was able to get one in black (although I've always seen it in silver). Anyway, it's small, simple, loud enough and takes very little space on your handlebar.
It is loud enough to be heard and the best function is the ability of the "hammer/trigger" to be positioned 360. While this may seem trivial, most people would probably positon the bell to be activated by your thumb, in my case, I have rotated the hammer slighty forward such that I can reach for it using my index finger. This leaves my hand in a more natural position to reach for either the bell or the brake lever"

Just what is Required in the City

"This small form factor bell is just what you need to let other city dwellers know that you are coming up either behind them or from their side. Using this bell is simple and you do have a choice of volume - within limits - by pulling more or less on the spring loaded tip. Remember that it does not need to be on top of the handle bar, place it in a position that allows you to simply reach it with your thumb."

Great bell

"I'm going into my second summer with this bell and I think it's great! Perfect size so it doesn't get in the way but plenty loud enough. Very easy to use with a simple thumb action without moving my hand from my shifter/brake/handle bar. Far superior to the bell that we purchased for my wife's bike. I highly recommend."
