"I used to own a standard ladder that ran over half the length of my garage. I live in a townhouse so getting it to the backyard was a hassle. Just taking it down from the ceiling was a hassle.
When I finally found I needed a stepladder (or basically a shorter ladder) for a job, I ditched the old ladder and picked up this thing on sale. Easy to store, and now I can easily take it through the house to get to the backyard. Extends to at least as long as my old ladder and also serves well as a stepladder."

Binding problem

"This is the second one of these ladders I have had in the last year and a half, and now it too is starting to bind very badly. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, how did you solve it, other than taking it back and getting a new one."

Excellent multipurpose ladder

"I bought this mostly to use as an extension ladder but liked having another step ladder around. It's an excellent outdoor ladder as I suggest you get some space to set it up - I would not want to use it to change a lightbulb. It also stores nicely and feels really durable. I'm a big guy and felt comfortable near the top with it fully extended.
I don't think you can find a better multipurpose ladder for the sale price of this one."

"I got this on sale and it was a good all around buy since I didn't have to buy any other ladders. This one will do all your jobs. As the others have mentioned, I found it a bit on the heavy side. It's a great ladder for working on stairs since you can adjust the legs to separate heights."

"This is a great buy. This ladder replaced three different size ladders I had. It is simple to use and very versatile. On the down side, the ladder is a bit heavy but what can you expect from a 21ft ladder."

"I've always been skeptical of multi ladders. A friend of mine bought one so I tried his.
This ladder is fantastic. Very versatile and easy to use. I'm 225lbs and this ladder was exceptionally solid in its most stressed positions. I had it in the A-frame at it's top height, nearly 9 feet, and it didn't wobble at all. The only thing you'll need to buy is a 2x12 to use for scaffolding. Other than that there are no other parts to buy.
This ladder is a little heavy, yes. But Grade 1 ladders always are. Lightweight ladders are flimsy and can even be unsafe.
I'll still keep my 28' extension and small household step ladders but this is going to come in very handy for painting, landscaping, and doing general work around the house."

"Like the others said it is quite heavy, but it makes up for it in it's usefulness. It is a sturdy ladder in all positions. the other problem would be when used as a scaffold it is a bit tippy when you are up high."

"Got it on sale. I was looking for an all-around ladder, and this one was worth the money. I didn't want to get 2 or 3 ladders for different tasks around the home. This one is perfect. The only downside is that is is heavy."

"This is a great quality ladder. It is fairly easy to change from each setting. It folds up very compact. I am able to fit it in the trunk of my car with the back seats down no problem. The only drawback to it is that it is a bit on the heavy side."

"Amazing ladder, definately worth the money, but would buy it on sale, which frequently happens. I use it for everything. Safe and sturdy. It's heavy, and can be a little ackward. But the amount of options you have to use it is great, felt very safe getting on my roof."

"Good Buy for the sale price! Better than buying just a normal ladder. The 21' is the best way to go as it can break down to smaller ladders when needed. Good and easy space/storage. Easy to set up and use."
