Trap catches the Japanese Beetle, a destructive pest that infests and destroys over 300 varieties of ornamental plants. Can also be used to catch the Oriental beetle which feeds on roots of turfgrass, nursery stock, greenhouse ornamental crops and fruit. Uses floral scents and the beetle's natural sex attractant to draw male and female beetles into the trap. Trap can be disposed of after use, or use the zippered bottom to empty trap if you wish to reuse it
