Ok for small jobs

Date:October 19, 2014
" Built with small ice chopping jobs in mind. Would not expect this product to handle last years ice storm. Was out of stock to purchase last year when it was on special and was never replentished in store. Was for the best in my opinion as other ice choppers were best to handle the ice storm situation last year. "

Gets the job done.

Date:November 27, 2010
" I picked this tool up to help break up the snow bank at the end of my driveway.
It is very sturdy.
I recommend this tool instead of using your shovel. Takes just about 5-10 minutes to break up the snow bank into manageable pieces. Then easily moved with a shovel or a sleigh.
The ice breaker takes all the hard hits, leaving the plastic shovels for the lighter work.
My only complaint is the rust. Just like with skates if you don't wipe down the blade and hang it to dry it will rust. "

Good but not great

Date:December 30, 2009
" Not as sharp as some others. I thought it would be great for the packed down tire tracks in our drive way, but it was only marginally better than a steel edged snow pusher. "

a very good purchase

" does a good job clearing ice, blade is just wide enough, foam grip reduces shock/vibration to hands/wrists. "
