Not for everyone

"Unless you have polished concrete or a smooth deck (in my opinion) you're best to look elsewhere. On regular concrete the aluminum blade grabs like mad and makes shoveling difficult.
I live on a corner lot and have had the "unfortunate pleasure" of using many shovels over the years, this is easily the worst one.
(Too bad because it appears to be really well made)
For those interested in a pusher type shovel you're probably better off looking at one with a steel blade.

"This is a great shovel. Not like that other plastic garbage you can buy. Especially if you want a good shovel for an outdoor rink. It scrapes without letting any snow go underneath. Plastic shovels simply don't have the weight to do it right. I've abused mine quite a bit and it's pretty indestructible it seems. Not bent at all and the wood to metal joint is fine. It's a bit heavy if you're on the "unfit" side but if you want the job done right, this is your shovel."
