"We vused the hose saver with a watering timer and while we were away, one end of the hose saver came off. The continuous stream of water from the tap eventually get into our basement. Took 5 months to get back to normal. I wouldn't recommend this part."

"The concept is good, but in practice it is not easy to assemble because to tighten the male end the only part to get hold of is the spring. The spring rotates around the hose! It leaks because I cannot tighten it enough. Judging by the number of opened packages on the display in the store I suspect this may be the reason why they were returned."

Protects Hoses from Kinks at the Tap

"My outdoor tap is about two inches off the ground (and pointed about 30 degress downward) and connecting a regular hose constantly resulted in kinks (and frustration). This did the job of giving me a few extra inches to attach my hoses and has not kinked or caused me any problems. It has worked great."
