Mastercraft Maximum 7-pc Flex Wrench Set
Ratcheting box ends require as little as 5° of sweep to move a fastener while a standard 12-point box end wrench needs 30° or 6X as much room; also allows for the tightening and loosening of fasteners without having to remove the box end from the nut. Surface Drive box ends virtually eliminate rounding of fasteners. Chrome-plated-steel construction, fully hardened with a full-polish for easy cleanup and superior rust-resistance. Thin head and handle allow access to hard-to-reach areas

"I purchased these when they were on sale excellent set of Wrenches very well constructed and I like the fact that the box and is a flex to get into those tight areas that you might need considering these were like reduced quite a bit from $99 it's an excellent bye highly recommended the wrenchs in the set a lot better than the replacement ones. Not by much to me they seem like there better looking they also have the part number stamped into them where the replacement wrenches or I should say the individual wrench does not it's too bad they should stamp part number directly onto the wrench. Overall I would say take advantage of this when it comes to wrenches and sockets Mastercraft really has a good quality product. It also comes with a lifetime guarantee see you not losing anything really!"

Worth considering!

"I bought a metric set earlier this year and put it to good use just last week. I'm not a mechanic, but I replaced the clutch on my '93 Ford Ranger. If any of you know this vehicle then you know what all is involved...(removal of front and rear driveshafts, transfer case, starter motor, and exhaust, just to get at the transmission!)
Anyhow I'm glad I had this set, it made taking apart and putting back all the car components waaaay faster! I agree with other reviews about not using these wrenches to initially loosen rusted or really tight bolts, but once you have them loosened up a bit the ratcheting ends make it a lot quicker.
They often go on sale for 50% off or more, combined with the lifetime warranty makes this tool purchase a no brainer."

Very good wrench for the price

"I bought both Metric and Standard sets when they were on sale for 1/2 price.
I use them on a daily basis at home and work, being a mechanic I find they work well, the only thing is not to use them to break loose tight nuts/bolts the ratchet head isn't made to handle that kind of torque.
Break the bolts/nuts with a regular hand wrench you'll save your knuckles!."

"Great wrench but has a weak point"

"I am a certified tech and have both sets of these wrenches. I use them more then my regular wrenches.
These are great wrenches but don't put a lot of power on the flex head. Break fasteners free with a solid wrench first or your flex head will you decapitate. They have a life time warranty but thats no good when you are in the middle of a big job.
Over all a good wrench for hard to reach spots and tight turn angles."

"I own $8,000 worth of Snap-on wrenches and sockets that sit in my tool box looking pretty while I use Mastercraft Maximum tools!!!! CT replaces tools no questions asked. I haven't broken one one yet, can't say that about Snap-on. Don't waste you're money on Snap-on or MAC tools, you're just buying a name!"

"These are great wrenches with the ability to get into those tight areas when needed and the ratchet system that helps sink in those tough bolts or nuts, not to mention the Maximum quality. The only thing I would say is to increase the amount wrenches available."

Hoping for good results

"Got this set for Christmas, having been debating buying it for 2-3 years. Only concern I have is whether it can handle high pressure with stuck bolts, from other reviews, I see it can't. But I have lots of times I just need a faster ratcheting action.
I usually use a ratchet, but recently saw a serviceman taking advantage of the flex-head part to make it more useful than a regular wrench. That got me figuring I could make more use of it that way too, so onto the Christmas list it finally went. Looking forward to using it, but not in heavy-duty situations."

"These are the best wrenches I've used and they’re the most versatile in CT’s lineup.
The Metric set comes with 10, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 and 18mm wrenches. However, I use them to work on metric cars (Honda, Mazda and Nissan). I have little to no use for 13, 15, 16 and 18mm wrenches.
For me, it’s a lot of money to spend for 3 useful tools! A perfect set, for me, would have 8, 10, 12, 14, 17, 19 and 21mm wrenches."

"I bought mine about a year and a half ago, and the only problem i've had with them, is the fact I used the 10mm so often, I lost. it.
If you use the wrenches as specified, and do not use them to loosen tight bolts, they'll last, as they are a top quality product."

"I’m a professional mechanic so this wrench set looked very promising, but as soon you put more preshure on, the wrench breaks.The store does not stock these wrenches, so they have to be order. (2 to 6 weeks). “Not recommended for a professional use”. BUY SNAP-ON or MAC."

Money Well Spent on a Dependable Set of Wrenches

"These speed wrenches are amazing, they require very little sweep to work. No mechanical switches to change direction of wratcheting (to me this means less mechanical pieces to break). You just turn the wrench over for the other direction. Each wrench is "etched" with a directional arrow, clockwise or counter clockwise. Try to get them on sale, if you can, it'll make you appreciate them even more.
These wrenches also have hinges you can bend for any offset you desire at the speed wrench ends. This is good and bad at the same time, you have the ability to work with an offset in your wrench, but there is nothing locking in place. This means they can still move on their hinges, even when you don't want them to. Still a great product though."

"I just bought these on special this week and so far i find them very practical the flex head makes alot of jobs so much easyer i would recommend them to everybody. Now is a good time to buy them they are on special until the 26th of september at half price you can get both sets SAE & metric for the price of one but hurry it ends tomowrow"
