"i worked in construction 2 years using this tape and the worst thing for tape measures is using them outside in the rain and pulling in and out with debrie on the blade, and I have done that so many times with this tape and unlike any other tape i tried this one keep on working none stop"

Tough tape

"When my brother's fat max wore out after months of continued rough use, I tried to destroy it. It was not easy at all. I threw it hard against concrete walls and pounded it with my 20oz hammer with little effect. I had to pound on it in just the right way for it to finally crack open. These things are tanks"

best Tape Measure you'll ever buy

"I have gone through many different brands and types of tape measures over the years and this one is by far the best. The tape is rigid, the case is strong and durable. I have broken many tapes when they should not have boke and this one has taken the same kind of use and abuse and still keeps on going. Will probably never buy another kind."

The only tape you'll need

"By far the best measuring tape I've ever owned. People may laugh and think that a measuring tape is a measuring tape, but they are not all created equally.
The tape is very sturdily built. The numbers are easy to see and the markings go to the 1/32" which is nice. The stand out lenght is great at 11' so when you are measuring by yourself, this feature is very convenient.
I would definitely recommend this tape even if its not on sale, as it is well worth its $25 price tag, but keep an eye out on 15-25% off sales. You can't beat this tape for those prices."

Top of the Pile Tape

"This is the best tape measure money can buy. If you ever see it at Canadian Tire for there now and then, 25% of Stanley Hand tools sale; pick it up and save a couple bucks. Even if it not on sale this tape is worth every penny. I work in a trade daily and this is a professionals choice for superior quality and build. It has a tough rubber outer casing on its standard plastic shell. Which makes this tape extremely durable and will outlast any other tape for people who dend to drop there tape. The Clip is non-magnetic which is becoming a staple of the Mastercraft line of tapes. Also it usually has a 11' Standout. Many mastercrafts claim to have a better standout but its because the blade is wider, but wider doesn't mean stronger it means wider and thinner. Keep all this mumble in your head when you want a great tape measure."

Great tape

"A very rugged tape that can take a beating. Dropped many times from 15' heights and still works great. The tape standout is a very handy feature when alone and need to measure long distances. Very easy to read and the tape numbers are wearing good. The only thing that would make it better would be a magnetic hook on the end."

"Everyone needs a measuring tape at least once in their lives. Instead of buying a cheap, easiler bendable tape, why not go with a good long-lasting tape. This FatMax measuring tape is made to last. It is wider than most tapes (making it easier to measure when doing long distances - the tape won't sag) and the botton is easy to use and actually stops the tape. There is no other tension when the botton is maxed out and you don't need to be strong to close it.
I recommend this tape for everyone in general, it's a very handy tool and it is easy to use (even for children because the base is mostly made with plastic)."
