Good mallet.

Date:September 24, 2012
"Got this on sale for $6.98 and now it's on sale for $3.71. I needed to give my car's alternator a tap, to remove it, when I had to replace it. This mallet did the trick. It might be 10 years before I need to use the mallet again, but still happy with the purchase."

A good Mallet

Date:December 28, 2008
"I agree with the above comments. It does pick up and transfer paint, and the weight is off, but it does do exactly as it should. I reccomend it."

Oddly weighted - otherwise fine

Date:October 21, 2007
"The mallet does what it should - delivers hard blows without damaging the surface. I do find that this mallet has picked up and will transfer colours (i.e. paint from one surface to another)
My BIGGEST problem with this hammer is that it's not weighted properly. If you carry it in your tool belt the slightest movement will cause the weight from the head to tip it upside down and it will fall out of your belt to the floor."
