Much better than any other hammer i have used!

"I used this for maybe a dozen years. I bought it with CT money. My other hammers tend to round out but not the Estwing. After many household projects (wood shed, kids cabins, 2 story garage...) it is still like new. Now that it is missing (I think a visiting contractor may have accidently taken it, they use them too), I will definitely get another soon. This 16oz model easily drives home large nails with little effort, which minimizes fatigue."

"The handle looks nice and seems durable so far. It's comfortable in my hands and has great balance. It comes with a hard, clear coating to make it shiny in the store which wears off with the striking surface first use but it's still a hammer and the metal is good."

"I lost this hammer for a short time...immediately bought a 20 oz Estwing hoping I'd again find the 16 oz. I did find the 16 oz after a few days.....Absolutely the best hammer you'll find. Well balanced, durable, the molded handle is in perfect shape after years and years of regular use. Can't say enough good about Estwing hammers."

"It doesn't surprise me that almost every "Estwing" hammer at "Canadian Tire" has a Five Star Rating. They are simply the best hammers you will ever purchase. The quality steel face is milled to perfection, and the balance is perfect on every model of "Estwing" that you will ever hold in your hand.
I purchased this model on sale just for finish work, and I now use it for absolutely everything. The rubber handle has held up beautifully, and really helps to absorb most of the impact, and the claws will remove any nail of any size.
Want the Very Best - Just Buy "Estwing".

"It's worth paying a few extra bucks for this hammer. Great balance, easy to swing, built to last. My other hammer shattered after only a few years of use (NOT an Estwing, it was actually another "top name" brand), and I've used this Estwing longer and for tougher projects without any problems."
