HANDY

Date:March 12, 2013
"VERY HANDY TOOL ESPICALY WITH THE VICE , THAT ALONE IS A HUGE HELP . MOUNTING MY SAW AS A BIT OF A CHALANGE , I HAVE A OLDER MODEL M.C. MITER SAW , FRONT MOUNTING HOLES WERE O.K , BUT HAD TO ADD A FEW WASHERS TO THE UNDERSIDE OF THE RAIL TO MAKE IT MORE STRONGER , THEN THE REAR HOLES DID NOT LINE UP , SO OUT CAME THE HEAVY DUTY CABLE TIES AND IT WORKED OUT SOLID , THE EXTRA MOUNTING BRACKETS DID NOTHING FOR MY STYLE SAW , WHEN YOU SEE THE WORD UNIVERSAL CHECK EVERYTING BEFORE YOU PURCHASE , IT IS A GOOD HANDY TOOL IN THE WORK SHOP OR MOBILE SITUTATION ."

WORK STATION

Date:March 11, 2013
"GOOD DEALT AT HALF PRICE , ONLY ISSUE I FOUND WAS THE TIGHETING SCREW FOR THE ADJUSTMENT HEIGHT OF THE ROLLERS , WHEN SCREWED IN TIGHT THE ROLLER BAR TWISTED . I HAD TO DRILL OUT A HOLE AND INSTALL THREAD INTO THE FLAT BAR TO MAKE IT SOLID WHEN TIGHTENED , SOILD NOW AND DOES NOT TWIST , NOT VERY WELL PLANNED OUT WELDING A BOLT ON A ANGLE . OTHER THAN THAT A HANDY PIEC OF EQUIPEMENT"

Pretty good deal when it goes on sale for $109

Date:March 10, 2013
"Just bought this stand as I was looking for one for my mitre saw. I was not even considering it for the regular price. but went on sale so took a closer look at it and decided to buy it. I think the clamp will come in very useful. The rollers and extensions look cheaply made compared to other stands. But at the price and the bonus of the clamp/vise on the table, it is totally worth it. For the extensions, there is only rollers where some stands have a stop, but it is made out of square tubing so someone could make different attachments."

No extra tool rails available

Date:February 13, 2013
"Great multi clamp work station and I have no complaints about quality of build of stability. My big complaint is that you can not buy additional mounts for this stand (called Mastercraft direct). This is a huge downfall for me since i use many tools in my home shop and space is at a premium. I will attempt to find a tool mount made by another company that fits."

Some good, some bad

Date:January 22, 2013
"I got this on sale for $109.99 as I needed a new stand for my miter saw (Ryobi). The stand is stable and sturdy and the clamping mechanism looks excellent and well thought out.
The mitre saw mounts clip on and off the stand very easily, so that is good too - once you bolt the saw to the mounts, it is a matter of ten seconds to install and remove from the stand.
However, I did have two beefs with this product. First, the mounts do not work well with my saw. The front set of mounting bolts has to be tightened down very close to the entry holes, meaning they can slip out and the whole thing falls apart. The saw can only be mounted in this position and it means longer material can only be placed on about three inches of the rollers which undermines their usefulness.
Second, the bolting area for the mounts is made of very thin metal, and bends easily. If you overtighten the mounting bolts (it won't take much), the mounts will self-destruct.
I'm regretfully returning this product. It may be that the problems are specific to my miter saw and other brands won't have the same problems. No question the product is otherwise sturdy."

You need this in your shop!

Date:October 20, 2012
"This is a well built, solid and multipractical tool. I've so far used it for routering edges on 6ft lengths of hardwood; the extendable supports are awesome and I can clamp the hardwood down with a couple of F clamps and the board doesn't budge. Used with the sliding compound mitre saw, 10" MC. The included quick release mitre saw clamp makes changing out tools quick and easy and holds it tight. I've also used it as a mount for a home built router table. The saw sits at a comfortable height. I'm 5'11". Bought it on sale for $99 which is practically giving it away. Tried hard to think of some criticism of this workstation while I was working with it but I couldn't come up with anything. Thanks CT!"

Built Tough

"So far I have nothing but good reviews for this item. A little heavy to carry around...but if it was light...it wouldn't be very solid and wouldn't last...went on sale for 99.99...worth every penny"
