"These are woderful garden decorations. The change colours from red to green to blue. we have been trying to get more but havent had any luck. Their downfall is that they are quite fragile, so if you knock one over, thats it."

no glow
Date:October 8, 2008
"These glowed all night out of the box, but since then they haven't worked very well at all. They are gorgeous and the cycling colour option makes them really interesting, but .....
Now, i didn't expect them to after a few rainy days, but then the sun shone and they got at least 5 hours of sun, and they didn't last even 3 hours. Unfortunately, the boxes are gone so all I can do is hope that the next sunny day brings light at night."

"I love the look! Unfortunately I have had bad luck with them keep working. one was dead from new, one has a short in it and one quit working after 3 weeks. Keep the box you buy it in and the receipt just in case. Otherwise they are my favorite and have bought the "orb" as a gift too!"

Awesome Product
Date:July 29, 2008
"These are the first solar lights I have ever purchased that are striking and draw attention to themselves all day long. At night they are spectacular. The changing colour is mesmerizing. I need one more to complete my rock garden."

A Solar Gaze Great Ball-O-Fire!?
Date:May 26, 2008
"My wife and I bought two of these initially (at 5.00 off) because we had several holes to fill around one of the back ponds, they looked attractive, and they were on sale. Exactly one nice & sunny day later I rushed back to my local C/T Store in hopes they were still on sale to buy at least 4 more for gifts. They only had two. A subsequent foray to another C/T store 90 Km away resulted in a sale price purchase of 3 more (of only 3 on the shelf). My mother and mother-in-law love theirs, my sister loves hers, my wife loves me for buying them. Metal is the only way to go in Alberta for this type of item. We leave our Emerald brand stakes out year-round and I believe the oldest we currenty have is about 5 years and is only now showing some corrosion. They are all still bright at night. The solar collector on this model is inside the glass (crackleware - does anyone remember it?) ball and therefore doesn't need to be cleaned. It takes very little sunshine in the day to charge and a full days charge lasts through the night until the next sunrise. The most popular setting is the color shifting one rather than plain white. Fantastic & very bright! At 10.00 Each these are a steal. At 15.00 they are merely an excellent buy."

Different and New

"Bought 2 of these, and they really add interest to my garden. They are in an area of part shade, and still glow all night. The stick is metal, not plastic like most. Everyone who sees them wants them."
