Very Easy to use

Date:May 11, 2013
"This product is very reliable and very easy to use. It makes your caliper really look wonderful after applying it on. It comes with caliper cleaner which really helps to clean the grease and dirt off. I bought the red color and paint my BMW calipers and i only used 1/4th of the can and could paint another 3 cars with the same can. Very great for the price. The only thing i could recommended to to purchase a duplicolor clear coat to make your calipers really shiny."

must have changed the formula?

Date:April 2, 2012
"I used this several (maybe 3?) years ago and found that it mostly lasted until I recently changed cars. I used the kit while they were still installed. From the other reviews, I'm starting to think that maybe they changed the formula (or maybe the color you use makes a difference--I had black?) I was planning to get it for the car I have now, but haven't been able to find the brush-on kit in black at a local store."

Looks good only when new!!!

Date:June 15, 2011
"Following the instructions that came in the kit, I prepped calipers very well (clean, wire brush, clean, dremel, clean, etc...). They looked really god for a couple of months but now a year and a bit later the paint has pretty much all chipped off. You can touch the parts with paint still there and the paint will just fall off.
Duplicolor claims to be very durable and chip resistant but, its is only that for a few months before it starts falling off.
Also, my dad painted his about a year ago and his are all chipping off as well. I just expected much more from this product!!! If you can, try using the G2 caliper paint MUCH BETTER. Only issue is you can't really find it in Canada and most places in the US will not ship to Canada because of the spray cleaner."

Clean, clean, clean

Date:July 5, 2010
"I can really only recommend this if you're going to remove your brake calipers, especially if you're applying this to an older car. My RX7 never saw winter so I can only comment on summer durabiltiy but it seemed to hold up ok. I even painted the exposed hub of the disks, the edge where the cooling vanes are gets way too hot though and burned it off."

Can't hold up against the winter

Date:April 10, 2009
"I got the black colour which looked okay, although not as glossy as I'd hoped.
I spent a lot of time on prep and made sure everything was rust free, and applied 3 coats. However I guess between teh heat, cold, salt, and other stresses brake calipers go through here in the winter, the paint on one of the calipers began to come off."
