Nice Insulating Drapes

"I wasn't sure if these drapes would be thick enough because I was buying them to keep the heat out in summer and the cold out in winter. They work perfectly. They have an adequate amount of insulation on the back side which absorbs light and temperature. In the 40 degree C temperatures this summer (2010) these drapes kept my room cool. They pull across easily and are a nice looking fabric. This is the canvas panel, they have the same thing in a different fabric, I think a silky one and a velvet one. I wanted something durable and easy to care for, so these canvas panels are great. On sale, the price is much lower than a package of two panels from another store. I also bought these in white for the bedroom. Both colours were a bit wrinkled right out of the package, but I ironed them with a low setting. I also save the nice clear zippered pouch they come in, to re-use later."
