I recommend this no divorce in sight

"I had my best friend go out and buy and pay this for me, even though the nearest Canadian tire store is only a block away from me, our old previous mystery vacuums filter fell down 20 floors , when i was trying to bang it against my balconies glass railing, to remove excess dust, lol, he brought me this godly gift from only the heavens above, in my condo, I have to vacuum carpet, and tile, so, I made sure I was going to find a cheap quality carpet vacuum, that was in stock , for sure, and near by"

Worst Vacuum I've Ever Used

"I used to be a big fan of Shark. I had bought the previous model to this one, and loved it. I used it until it had worn out, after a decent number of years. This model is the same style of Shark as my old one, but is much more cheaply made. The vacuum tube is made of a thinner plastic, making it prone to kink regularly. The vacuum bags don't fit snug, so a lot of dirt misses the bag entirely, clogging the filter and leaving a pile of sand and dirt underneath the bag. The suction is horrible: I have to go over the same spot 2-3 times to vacuum up even regular dirt. Unfortunately, I opened the box past Canadian Tire's return policy date, or I would have returned this one for sure. I will not buy a Shark again."

Broken AGAIN!!!!

"This is the third vacuum of this model that I have had. The first one was great. Paid $40 for it and it lasted 2yrs with good suction on bare floors. Since then, they have definitely changed the model! The second one's rubber hose randomly broke off the nozzle after about a year, and now I have had this one for less than 4months and it just died! Should have stopped at the second one, but for the price, it did a great job at quick clean ups on hard surfaces! I will not waste another penny on this vacuum!!!"

Good for bare floors

"I have bare floors and three cats, this little vac is great for grabbing up the dustkittens that seem to collect under things and behind doors. wouldn't recommend it for pile carpet, though it does a good job in indoor/outdoor flat stuff."

I had to give this piece of garbage a star rating

"I bought the Shark Quick Clean Canister Vacuum on sale last week (Jan 31/13). I am returning this week (Feb 4/13).
This machine is the biggest piece of garbage that I have ever purchased. There is absolutely NO SUCTION what-so-ever. I have a typical small area carpet (very low pile) in my apt. living room & it wouldn't even pick up a piece of lint. Nor would it suck up the dirt on the hardwood floor, it just pushed it around.
I heard Shark was supposed to be a decent product, but after using this awful vacuum, I'm going to save my money & get a Dyson"

"I purchased this vacuum on sale and use it for all hard surfaces, berber carpeting, for the car and RV, it's lightweight and has a strong 12 V amp which makes for great suction and it has a re-useable bag!"

Not even close to as good as the model it replaced

"I bought 3 Shark vacuums of the model this one replaced. They were cheap light and had very powerful suction and the bags were cheap.
The only thing going for this model is that it seems slightly lighter than the old model. It claims to be the same 1200W as the old model but it doesn't pick up dirt in one pass like the old model did. It sometimes takes 3 passes to pick up larger (2mm) pieces. There also is a air bypass port on the handle which always opens when vacuuming making the suction even weaker.
The head is absolutely a chore to use. On carpet it binds when moving forward and picks up little. When the brush is down on bare floor it just pushes dirt around that never gets sucked up.
The old model was a classic example of a cheap well designed product. This one is just cheap and light.
Shark must not have tested this product side by side with the product it replaced. If they did it would have gone back to the drawing board."

worst vaccum

"I was a great fan off the shark plus then they decided to change it to this one and called it the quick clean vaccum it's not as good as the shark plus it clogs up in the filter bags don't fit right it's very cheaply made and it cost more the the shark plus the floor attachment don't work right.to many problems with it to list them all.seams to me they are going backwards instead off forward with this vac ,I just want my shark plus back.would not recommend the quick clean to anyone."

"We have had an EP3005 model for years (similar model) without any problems but the bags for this unit don't fit tight around the suction tip so the dust bypasses the bag and clogs the motor filter."
