This unit has far exceeded our expectations in so many ways. Let's just say, that we have a portable unit (which was also costly but doesn't work half as well# that cools another bedroom in our house from 28 degrees to 26 degrees in almost an hour #even though we had set it to 22 degrees!#, and we did the same with this unit -- started off at 28 degrees C in our bedroom, and has gone to 22 degrees within 10 minutes! This is a POWERHOUSE a/c and works so incredibly well!

On nights that aren't quite so hot, we simply use the dehumidifier function which keeps our bedroom at a comfortable temperature and removes the excess moisture. On really hot days, we have it on the auto/cooling setting and this works phenomenally well.

You really have to experience this to believe it. It cools down a room SO quickly and SO efficiently...it's the best window a/c we've ever experienced! Plus, it carries an additional warrantly, it has a neat 6th sense system option, and it doesn't produce any unusual odors either #which our portable one does). It's perfect in every way! :) We only use it for our master bedroom, but I suspect that it could cool a much larger space quite well too.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! I would give it 11/10 if I could!"

Perfect addition for our Century Home

"This unit worked perfectly. Very strong fan for instant cooling and Auto Fan selection for a variable fan speed (saves on energy and noise).

Easy to install and operate. I recommend a few pieces of extra wood for securing and leveling this unit in your window. I used the supplied brackets and foam however I added my own insulation to ensure there are no gaps left open. Make sure all your vents are free from all obstructions, air flow is key for efficiency and performance.

1 unit was enough for my main floor. I also use fans to help circulate the air.

Noise level while sleeping is fine when set to Auto Fan.

Very happy with this product."

One of My Best Purchases

"This seems to be a very good window AC unit. I have a tee-shaped cottage bungalow with an area between 1200 and 1300 square feet. I installed the AC unit at the tee intersection. On the one or two hot days of this year, the AC unit performed remarkably well. It cooled the entire place down to an acceptable level (below 72 F then I turned it off) and did a great job of removing humidity. Without the unit, my place would have been in the high 70's or low 80's for a couple of days. With the configuration of my home, I'd say this window AC works almost as well as central air. And it didn't blow any fuses. I'm very happy with this product."
