Really like my Ninja!

"I had a Magic Bullet and it was ok but didn't find it worked well for everything so I asked for a Ninja for Christmas and got one. I really like it. I can not only mix drinks of various types but I use it a lot just to mix stuff/process stuff. Last night I made a Banana Frosty with it. It's easy to clean and the motor is powerful. I recommend it. Now my Magic Bullet gets to grind coffee beans, maybe whip a little cream and that's about it. The Ninja is my workhorse. :)"

"I have had this item for a few months now and I absolutely love it! I use it virtually every morning to make myself and my families protein smoothies. I use it to make salad dressings, crush ice, chop veggies, you name it! The blades are sharp and the fact that there are so many it ensures even mixing. If there is anything negative it is only in that you can't just turn it on and walk away, but it works so quickly that this isn't a huge issue!"

"This product is fantastic. Broke my old 1999 blender by accident ( not sad) and had to run out to buy a new one to finish making my babies food. It purred the food no problem and love that I can control with little pulses how smooth I want it. Only thing that may be flawed is when I filled it almost full to make smoothies it did start to come through the closed spout so that could be sealed a bit better.

"The Ninja works wonderfully, it blends smoothly and quickly, easy to assemble and wash. Since it comes with 2 size containers, it is perfect for single servings or multiple servings. Each container has its own blade which is sharp and powerful. Not sure if I would pay reg price of 70. but was worth the sale price."

"I purchased my ninja (on sale) after getting frusturated with trying to make frozen drinks with a traditional blender. I've had it for almost two years and no issue...it is effeicient and quick. Ive done salsa, instant pudding, bread crumbs and smoothies. My buddy bought one as well after using mine and his has no issues as well. I agree w another poster about dishwasher cleaning and the handle getting gross inside...my solution was to simply snap off the outer face of the handle as it is two peices. I have left the outer piece off and it cleans completely. The lid is another matter as I wish they could streamline the design for easier washing. Besides my kitchenaid, it is the appliance I use most."

"I have only used this once so far but it's awesome at making smoothies. It took no time to blend it smooth, was easy to clean, and make a great smoothie! It feels like it's great quality and it's super easy to use. I will have to see how it holds up, but for the price I got it for I am impressed already."

An upgrade from the Magic Bullet but poor design

"Over the past three years I have purchased three different NINJA Food processing systems from Canadian Tire.
1. Ninja Master Prep Pro Food & Drink Maker
2. Ninja Master Drink Master
3. Ninja Kitchen System

I use them almost every day. The chop and blend works great! BUT...the quality of the lids on the Kitchen system are very poor! Both lids blew into a million pieces when I attempted to remove the lid. I had the lids replaced and had the same problem. In addition, all lids and containers are VERY DIFFICULT to clean! In the dishwasher food and water gets trapped behind the handle which is gross! Furthermore it is next to impossible to remove food from the inner corners of the lids. I have to soak them overnight and use a toothpick to clean."

"I use this appliance at least once per day, and the little attachment 3 or 4 times per week. I use it, rinse it toss in the dishwasher and it comes clean every time.
We have made slurpees, smoothies, etc in the larger bowl and salsa, pico de gallo, pureed veggies in the smaller. It would work great for pureeing baby food too.
This is a great buy and I would definitely purchase it again!"

"This is exactly what I was looking for! It's very powerful and easy to clean.
Perfect for my green smoothies in the morning. It really chops up the spinach.
I also love using it for blending soups. Because the container is made of plastic, I don't need to wait for the soup to cool down - very handy! I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking."

"Just bought it, it turns ice cubes straight out of the tray into slush like a $300+ margarita maker, plus you can blend food, as well as any other blender. I was going to buy it anyways, but on sale the value is amazing."

Great for Making Baby Food

"I bought the Ninja after hearing it was a great tool for baby food prep. I used it for making my twins baby food and it did a great job. I did have to add a little extra water to some of the purée so that there wasn't any chunks left at the side. I found that the blades would sometimes not reach the sides of the blender and leave a few big chunks of food while the rest was puréed. I also use it for making smoothies and it works quite well also. Note: It does take up a fair amount of storage space because of the multiple pieces that don't fit into one another."
