Best Purchase Ever

Date:May 10, 2013
"I was shopping for a 4 slice toaster which cost approx $50.00. This toaster oven was on sale for $59.99. I have used it for a week for bacon, pork chops, roast, and toast. Next I will cook a chicken on the rotissiere I am completely satisfied with it and look forward to using it all summer instead of a regular oven."

Too noisy!

Date:March 6, 2013
"Wanted to love this toaster oven, but just after two days using it, thought I would lose my mind. I try my best not to use it anymore, unfortunately, and ALL due to the horrid, LOUD, tick-tick-tick-tick-tick-tick-tick... if you like the sound of an old, extremely loud ticking clock as your food cooks or toasts... go for it. But for me, the sale price and any other features are completely wiped out by the most annoying appliance on the planet sound-wise."

Best toaster oven I ever had!

Date:December 20, 2012
"Bought this oven about a year ago. I love it! It cooks a lot faster than other ovens I've had - maybe because of the convection - so I always reduce the cooking time a bit. Pizza pans don't fit but no bother - I put it right on the rack.
We use it every day and hardly use the big oven. I noticed a comment about the loud fan when using the convection oven and I don't really notice it - it's not that loud.
I like that it's easy to clean too. It comes with 2 wire racks and a full Teflon pan which holds lots of fish or chicken fillets."

Decent, but oh my that LOUD convection fan

Date:November 10, 2012
"This oven has served me well for several months now, it is large enough for a 9-inch pizza pan, will bake enough food to feed two people easily. It is, by-and-large, a decent oven.
But the convection fan can be way too loud, at times. It is an inconsistent thing, one time it will be nice and quiet, other times it will rattle so loud you can hear it plainly in another room. It will even phase in and out over the duration of baking a meal. It is not a trivial amount of noise, when it is present, seems to be getting worse with age/use.
If you are able to tolerate the noise, the other aspects of this oven seem fine, and on sale, the price is right. I wouldn't refer to this as a well-made piece of equipment, though."

Works great!

Date:August 17, 2012
"Love this appliance! Toasts great, rotisserie function is a dream, broiler makes the best, juicy steaks, I rarely use my regular oven anymore, and we're a family of four! Only complaint--rack doesn't come out a little when you open the door like my old Black and Decker did. Otherwise, awesome product."

Use it Almost Every Day

Date:August 13, 2012
"I am so pleased with my purchase. My former toaster oven was so small it limited use yet took up amost the same counter space. This oven is big enough to hold many of my casserole dishes-I'm celiac so don't need it for toast or pizza but for broiling, baking casseroles, baked potatoes, crustless quiche, roasts and even has a rotisserie for a perfect whole chicken. Convection cooks quickly and evenly. It has double racks plus the broiler pan-almost NEVER use my full size oven anymore."

Love it, but doesn't take pizza pan

Date:June 8, 2012
"I bought this on sale about a year ago, and am very happy with it. It's not the best toaster in the world, but most ovens are not. It makes decent toast, but takes a while.
As an oven, it is wonderful. There is plenty of heat and the convection makes it pretty even. I use the oven at least once a day, sometimes several. The racks provide an unlimited combination of positions in the oven for broiling or baking. The only draw back is that it will not hold a standard pizza pan like my old oven did. However, using the included pan, plus one more I found, I don't miss the pizza pan as much as I expected. The oven is easy to keep clean, and mine still looks new.
The rotisserie function was not something I was looking for, but I use it a lot. I buy large free-range chickens, and quarter them. I have no trouble putting even the awkward leg/thigh quarter on the spit for rotisserie cooking, and the result is fabulous.
I would buy this oven again."

planned--obsolescence?

Date:May 23, 2012
"quit in less than 3yrs. - found racks tipy - possible hazard - and side support grooves shld. be tighter and deeper, toasting not great.
-however, I did like the temp. variations and with convection feature items came out wonderfully crispy, -now I know can't live without a convection/toaster oven---now which model to get????
-funny thing I've got an "13 yr. old " sanyo bagel best toasty oven, I keep pulling out-of storage when current toaster oven(s) quit---and it still is g r e a t ---only problem does not have convection and a little small, oh bother!!!

Great Convection Oven

Date:April 25, 2012
"I've had this product for several months, and it works great. I use it to cooke a whole chicken or roast on the rotisserie, hashbrowns, fish sticks, chicen nuggets, and just about anything else. I often use the broil option and put the pan on the highest bar, and the keep warm option to reheat food. It is a great alternative to a microwave if you want to avoid the harmful radiation. I find the rotisserie parts a little difficult to clean but that is my only complaint. Would highly recommend!"

Good quality

Date:February 28, 2012
"I bought this item last summer and used it almost everyday. It doesnt toast as well as i thought it would but i used the convection for almost everything. The size was perfect for me. It is a product that I would recommend to anyone else. If you are looking for strictly a product to do toasting probably best to get a toaster instead. But as for the convection bake and the rotisserie was a neat feature on this item too."

Really noisy, and door doesn't close tightly

Date:February 11, 2012
"I really wanted to like this toaster oven, after having purchased it based on user reviews here. What a mistake! The convection fan is ridiculously noisy - it sounds like an outboard motor that's about to break down; and the only option for baking is with convection - you cannot turn the fan off. I know that convection fans do not have to be noisy, as we owned another toaster-convection oven previously and that fan was whisper quiet.
We have actually tried two of these units -- the first one was returned the day after purchase because of the fan issue. The second unit seemed better - the fan started off quiet and got a bit noisier until the oven heated up, but the noise level was acceptable. However - with each successive use of the oven, the fan got louder and louder, and pretty soon was as bad as the first unit. To make things worse, the door doesn't close tightly, and there is a noticeable gap at the top. Given that hot air rises, this cannot be energy-efficient!
The second unit has now been returned, and we have purchased the Black&Decker model with convection and rotisserie The convection fan in that oven makes a slight noise, and it doesn't sound like it's about to break down, as the Bravetti did. Also, the B&D model has an on-off switch for the fan."

Good, but.

Date:February 6, 2012
"Works very good, convection and rotisserie very quiet. However, the temperature in the oven is about 50 degrees higher than the dial setting when tested with a professional device. When taking that into consideration the oven works very good, I like it. Don."

Simple but good

Date:February 4, 2012
"Bought this oven for I think 70$ and it is very good value. Rotisserie works pretty well. The convection fan helps things cook very evenly and quickly, though it makes a little noise which varies when the elements are on or off, but the noise is acceptable. The included drip tray does the job.
Temperature control is not accurate, but few ever are.
We've never tried actual toast in here; we just use the toaster for that, so I can't comment on that aspect.
Overall, if bought on sale I think you will be quite satisfied."

Excellent Oven

Date:December 7, 2011
"I've had this convection oven for roughly a year now. We use it a lot, far more than our full-size oven. I cannot comment on the timer complaints that others have had as I normally turn the dial to "stay-on" because I prefer to use the digital timer on our microwave for the accuracy.
It heats quickly, it cooks evenly and quietly. I have used the rotisserie twice, once for chicken and the other for a roast. The chicken made a huge mess which I hadn't anticipated so I was prepared the next time and lined the bottom of the oven with foil.
I do have one insignificant complaint but it wouldn't keep me from choosing this unit. If you are cooking with the baking sheet that is provided, it slides into the inner groves perfectly but when you want to pull it back out of the oven only slightly maybe to turn your food, the groves do not hold the tray tightly and it can slide out of the oven. You have to hold the tray with one hand while you work with the other hand. The first time I noticed this, it was almost dangerous as I was cooking bacon on the tray and it was full of hot grease. Ooops. But otherwise, this is a terrific product."

Timer breaks

Date:November 21, 2011
"As somebody else mentioned, the clock mechanism in the timer broke after about 1.5 years. I have taken it apart and can get it working fine until it is rotated to the way it needs to be installed, then it stops abruptly. Very cheaply constructed clock mechanism. The 'bearing' for each of the shafts is a hole in the clock casing, which is a quite malleable, so wear can be expected in the more active bits, such as the one that ocillates.
The light has burnt out as well.
All the other features work fine; you just need an external timer to remind you to turn it off.

rotisserie

Date:May 9, 2011
"I bought this Bravetti oven for two features: convection, and rotisserie. Both work well, and I can't be happier to not have to turn on my full size oven:) It takes up precious [condo.] counter real estate, but I got rid of the toaster I rarely used.At an average of $9 to buy 1 rotisserie chicken at the store, plus savings on my electrical bills .I'm getting my money's worth during my almost two year ownership. Down side, not having a two hour timer,or digital controls."
