Latch Needs Improvement

"I would agree with the other reviewers who have mentioned the locking mechanism. I own about 8 of these containers and use them for a variety of things from canned goods in the basement to out-of-season clothing in my bedroom closet. As long as you aren't opening and closing these containers too often the latches are fine but if you were to use these for a purpose in which you need to get into them a lot, you'll find that the latches tend to stop working quickly.
Otherwise, the plastic seems good... I've had no cracking or warping of my boxes."

"I bought this tote thinking it would be great for storage but like others who bought this product before me, the locking mechanism did not stand up and now I am not able to use it. Very disappointing....."

"This storage containers look good, and if all you are storing are towels as the picture suggests, I suppose they work. The lid doesn't latch well, or at all sometimes, and it warps after a while."

"I don't recommend this storage box for holding anything valuable. The lid is flimsy and the latch doesn't hold like it should. The bottom of the box is fine but with a lid like this I'd suggest getting one of the other totes Can Tire sells."

15-months old opens it with ease

"She does not even bother with the latch (which is in locked position) - just (with some effort) lifts the lid. Also if you are not slow and gentle with the lid - it just comes off (designed to be fixed to the back of the box - so that the box would open like a chest."
