Great for extra cargo

"Brought one this summer as we were running out of cargo space in the car on day trips. This rack is brilliant. Can be mounted on the car in about 10 mins and is very sturdy (was carrying barbacue & cooler, and other stuff, etc).
Pros. Very easy and quick to mount on car.
Cons. Neighbours asking to borrow it for their day trips!"

Does the Job

"I purchased the cargo carrier in order to transport 2 adult bikes to South Carolina during March Break. After 3600km +, the carrier did the job without any issues. Surprisingly, there was no appreciable wind noise either (on our HHR).
The only minor complaint was the mounting to our vehicle's rectangular cross bars - the notched plastic saddles were not quite the right dimension to fit snugly. This meant that the U-bolt used to secure the connection never felt right until the nut finally bottomed out. Despite checking the carrier regularly, I never noticed any loosening of the connection, so my concern was apparently for not.
I have no regret buying this product."
