Lots of dry space for little $$$

Date:September 14, 2011
"These are not permanent shelters so don't buy one for that and don't expect them to hold up for days/weeks unattended. If you use them in windy areas, tie them down with ropes from the eave cross pipes. I screwed the feet to 2x12 planks and put 50 pounds of concret blocks on them. If you use the sides in windy areas, you can kiss it good bye as the frame is too weak to withstand big winds on the sails that the sides become.
But if you need cheap temporary shelter in a tucked in place, you can't beat these tents."

As good as its user & intsallation.

"Keep in mind that this is not meant, or designed, to be a permanent out building, and thus is not 'built to code'. Nonetheless, I have used one - with the side panels - for two years as a tractor shed, and it has served me well. It failed during the recent unusually strong winds (gusts at 120 K/hr) ... but only because I failed it - I left the door open and I had planned to re-tighten the anchorage points.
When installed according to the manufacturer's directions, it is more than able to serve most purposes. It has never leaked. I did re-shore the roof by sliding some 1x2's along the trusses to prevent sagging under either rain or snow load.
My old unit would have survived the winds if I had been a bit more thorough with the anchorage. Not having either concrete or asphalt to lag it into, I chose short earth screws. If you need to use them, go with at least 15 inch screws."

Never Again

Date:February 15, 2011
"Never again will I buy this product. You cannot anchor it enough to keep the wind from moving it. There is not enough support for the tarp. The framing for this canopy is too weak. The first snow this winter, and all the legs and supports buckled. The tarp fills with snow or rain in between supports and does not run off. This is a very cheap poor product for the money you pay. I would not recommend this product to anyone. I wouldn't recommend it even for keeping things out of the sun. It is just a very bad product.
The only warranty you get is on manufacturers defects. They will not warranty anything else that goes wrong.
I absolutely do not recommend purchasing this product!
