"This panel worked quite well for its size. I use it to maintain 2 deep cycle batteries at camp over the winter when I am not there often. This one panel kept both batteries to almost full charge. May have kept them up to full charge, except for placement."

Not quite as advertised

Date:July 6, 2013
"This solar panel did not actually produce 7 watts but more closer to 4 watts on a really hot full sun day. There are a pile of reasons that could cause this solar panel to fall far short of it's rated output so I'm going to have to say that perhaps it's just that I received the odd bad one. Anyhow, to keep this review short I'll also say that the short circuit output of 350ma was also lower than it's rating of 465ma as written on the manufacturer's label. Perhaps somebody else with some basic electronics skills could test out this solar panel and either verify my findings or not. Either way all the parts were there and the panel does function well enough for my needs but it seems misleading to market a panel as having 70% more power than what It really does produce."
