work fine, install CAREFULLY

Date:November 5, 2012
"Bought these rims last year for a 2011 Elentra. They are multi fit, lug centric. I can see how someone might install this rim incorrectly but if you ensure the first lug centers correctly you should have no problem. I had CT install Nordics on these rims, they run better on the highway 120 km than the stock rims and tires."

Good enough for winter tires

Date:June 22, 2011
"I purchased these for my winter tires as I didn't want to spend too much on rims. Well they work fine, no problems at all. Great price."

Conical Seats

Date:May 6, 2011
"I think the prior review stating that this rim is hub centered is incorrect.
Rims are either hub centered or stud centered. The rims I have seen that are hub centered all used flange style nuts and a flat mounting surface on the rim for the flange of the nut to clamp against. Stud centered rims all, by necessity, use conical (cone shaped) nuts and conical seats on the rim for the nuts to tighten against.
This rim does have conical seats. You can see them in the picture as the raised area around each bolt hole. I just installed 4 of them on my car last week.
The center hub hole of the rim was easily 1/4" bigger all around than the hub on my car. But the rims centered just fine, and the conical nuts tightened down into the conical seats as they were supposed to.
My only complaint is that on my Mazda Protege, the wheel covers did not fit back on tightly to the rim. They are staying on just fine, and they did the same thing with the previous aftermarket rims I had from Coast Tire, but these were significantly cheaper than Coast Tires rims."

Check before you buy

Date:March 19, 2011
"these rims do not have conical seats for the lug nuts and will not center properly on the studs. They will always appear out of balance, when actually they are off center. If your vehicle uses the hub for centering you are OK. Check the type of rim on your vehicle BEFORE buying these."

Don't buy for Volvo XC70

Date:March 10, 2011
"I purchased these rims for Volvo XC70 and although the team and CanTire worked very hard to balance the wheals the vibration above 100km/h continued . Thankfully CanTire was willing to take them back and now I have Volvo rims and there is no vibration. Multi fit just does not fit Volvo."
