Good jack, does what it is supposed to

"Good jack here. I used it on a low car and it worked great. You have to take one of the pins out and put it back in before you use it which isn't mentioned in the instructions. The jack itself seems fairly sturdy but it seems a bit loose where you attach the handle. All in all it's a decent jack."

Big and capable

"The first thing that struck me about this jack was how big it is compared to regular 2 ton jacks. They seem like toys compared to this beast. I wondered why it needed to be so big when it's only rated at 0.5 ton more; then I realised: it's the reach. The arm is significantly longer than the arm on a 'toy' one, so it simply has to work that much harder, even for the same weight.
The good points about this jack are that it is solid, sturdy and capable of lifting a car or SUV through a good distance. I've used it many times now, and it's a joy to use.
The minus points are that unfortunately my pin is loose in the same way as Nighthawk99's is; also, the first one I took home leaked oil. Of course, CT changed it without question, so this doesn't need to be a problem, but it doesn't inspire confidence in the quality of the item."

Still going strong

"I bought this on sale in May 2010 for $55, after my other jack (not from CT) tuned out to be wimpier than it's makers advertized.
So far, I have been impressed with this one though. It is small enough to not only fit under my car, but lift it as well. I am blessed with a car that is really low [stock] and pretty heavy, so finding a jack that copes with that has been difficult.
I use it quite often, and have yet to be disappointed by it.
The good:
- Sturdy
- Works
- Reasonably priced
- Works
- Reasonably priced
- The pin that holds the jack handle in is loose, and I am worried it will get lost.
- The metal trim around the pump gets in the way and is now bent.
- It is difficult to let the car down slowly."

Should be OK

"Picked it up on sale for $55, so I'm sure its worth the $. HOWEVER, if you are relying on the 20 7/8 lift height - DON"T. I measured mine and its 19 1/8. I'm sure it'll still be OK for my SUV and travel trailer, but I was very surprised to see that the lift height is almost a full 2" shorter than advertised. I'm a little disappointed with CT on this."

"I just bought 2 of these jacks today and i must say iam very happy and impressed with them. defentaly good jacks and with lots of light height ,i got 2 cause its alot eaiser to put a car up on the jack stands when you got 2 of these to get the car up all at once, mind you you need a second person to run the the other jack but even for a single person only needed one jack still very impressed either way"
