"Excellent value at full price but even better on sale (which is when I bought mine). Easy and quick to assemble, ideal for car and light truck maintenance in my garage. Pick up a set of 3ton stands on sale to complete the set."

No Complaints thus far

"THOROUGHLY CHECK STANDS FOR MISSED WELDS BEFORE USE. I had to exchange a stand because i think the welder took a nap, since the bead wandered off for about 1/4 in then returned. Apart from that, has worked very well. If you are looking for a racing jack, you will be dissapointed, it will require a decent amount of pumps to reach max lift. HOWEVER if you are looking for a safe and economical way to put your car up in the air for routine maintenance, you should be happy with this purchase, and remember to NEVER UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES go under a car that is supported solely by a jack. And i only say this because I have seen it happen, USE PROPER LIFT POINTS, or you will pop the trunk and see the cradles of the stands poking through."

Better than expected

"I rarely buy CT branded stuff when it comes to tools. I bought this when it was on sale and I must say I was impressed when I "unboxed" it. Looks strong, the nuts and bolts are large, the steel thick. The downside is that strength equals very heavy. I lifted my Audi TT (stock height) in one corner with this jack no problem, it didn't give way or drop. My only complaint is that there is know way to let the car down slow and easy, it will drop hard (too hard for my liking). I tried numerous times to let it down slow, it wouldn't. I can't find any way to adjust it. Happy with this jack and accompanying stands."

"On sale for $99.99 is a great value for this jack & Stands. Anything better caries a much higher price tag.
My older CTC 1-1/2 ton unit started to slip so I needed something that both lifted higher and was more solid.

Because this is a true 3 ton unit, be prepared that this is a heavier and larger jack. I almost took it back because of it's weight & size, I work in tight spaces where storage space is very limited.
However, when I used it, it worked great!
Watch for the hair trigger on release vlave. But manageable. Otherwise, I NOW have changed my mind and am defintely keeping it. Stands are nice too.
It also has a removable lifting cup so you can add lifting accessories easily.

Solid Product!

"Picked this up on sale for $89.99 (30% off) and gave it a test run on my car in the garage - works great. Took a couple of attempts to get the function down pat, but once I had that sorted it works like a charm. The fact that it comes with 2 axle stands is a great bonus as well. This jack should take care of your standard car needs -- a great tool to have in your garage."

"Used repeatedly for two vehicles. Lifts my 2.5 ton van no problem.
Comes with neat foot pedel that works great.
Always use the jack stands for safety- as the hydraulic lift will creep down over time. (Normal for all hydraulic jacks.)"

"I bought my 3-ton jack and stands about 3 years ago, and have jacked up about 300 cars, trucks and vans with it. It just keeps going and going - it works relentlessly. I didn't expect it to last as long as it has! When, or should I say, if this one ever breaks, I will buy another!"

Best Deal You Will Ever Find

"I have a 2008 F350 on 35's and weights 8600 lbs. This 3 ton jack had no problem handling the weight of the truck to rotate tires. It has enough vertical lift and the jack stands had an inch or 2 to spare.
You cannot find a jack anywhere else for this price let alone one with a set of jackstands. The jackstands will work for any light duty truck application that has 40" tires or less. I was just barely able to remove my 40" tires off of my 91 4runner using the jackstands and there was still a few inches of lift left on the jack."

An "Uplifting" Experience

"This is the last jack you will need to buy. At 3 tons, this will lift any car or light truck to do neccessary tire changes or work. For the price, you can't find a better deal or a better product.
My only beef is that the nature of the small wheels and that much weight placed on them, they leave indents in my nice asphalt drive-way, so recently, I've been laying down a sheet of plywood down first, then the jack sits on that thus denting the plywood, not my driveway. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a safe, reliable jack.
And remember, play it safe, always use the jack stands when suspending your vehicle, it may take a few extra minutes, but it would definitely be worth the extra time if the jack ever let go and you were under or near the vehicle."
